The Barber Dime, named for its designer Charles E. Barber, who was also the Chief Engraver at the U.S. Mint, debuted in 1892. Similar to the Seated Liberty series, it featured a consistent design with the quarter and half dollar throughout its production run, which concluded in 1916.
