1915-S Buffalo Nickel - RESTORED DATE

The 1915-S Buffalo Nickel featured no major design changes and continued the series. Due to poor design, the dates on this series are often obscured or worn off prematurely, resulting in dateless nickels. This coin has a RESTORED DATE, which chemically raises the obscured/worn date and restores it to a more complete, readable state.

Product Features:

• The obverse features a Native American, whose likeness is attributed to Iron Tail or Two Moons.
• The reverse depicts an American buffalo/bison.
• RESTORED DATE condition, meaning the date and mint mark are the exact same the coin was minted with, but have been chemically treated to raise the date and possibly other detail from a completely worn state. View our Grading Policy for more information on how we grade our coins.
• A very inexpensive way to complete a collection with authentic, but chemically treated coins.
